The Wembley 95 gig is so hard to listen to, James sounds so unhappy.

Trace, Brum was shit. It really was. First Manics gig I've ever walked out of from sheer boredom and it put me off seeing them since.

Well I had an ace time! Just a shame they had to dash off afterwards!

This time last year, I was waiting outside Hard Rock Cafe to meet Nicky. Oh how time flies!

It does a bit! Ah, that was a nice night. I wish I'd waited around a bit longer to meet James but never mind

Found a nice quote in the course description of my university calendar:

“To be born in Wales, not with a silver spoon in your mouth,
but with music in your blood and poetry in your soul, is a privilege indeed” (Brian Harris).

Found myself listening to Be Natural and wondering what might have been had it been a single instead of Tolerate and whether or not it would have changed the bands fortunes for the worse?

Hmmm...interesting question. Well, I think it wouldn't happen anyway ["Be Natural" wouldn't be a single, because: a] the record company [was it Sony then?] wouldn't let that + Tolerate is much cachier as a single and b] Nicky was/is too fond of Tolerate so he wanted it as a single back then

Yeah but Tolerate is in their top 3 singles! Not releasing it would have been sheer madness.

The record label and the band saw "Be Natural" as the lead single from Truth and Tolerate as a b-side. It wasn't until the famous comet sound was added to Tolerate that they realised that the song could be a single. The rest, as they say, is history.
