That's something you would never guess by listening to any Manics song...ever.

My next mission in life is to meet Geddy Lee in Canada when i'm over there getting my Rush tattoo in YYZ (Toronto) and catching them on tour at some point in the future!

I had no idea that the Manics liked Rush until a few years ago.

Is anyone aware of any interviews from pre 2004 where they even mention Rush?!

Good luck finding him unless he's playing a show. He's not 'showbiz' so doesn't hang about in the usual places looking for photo ops. You're actually more likely to run into Lifeson then Geddy and even that's a stretch.

Hope you make it to Toronto though.

Btw, I didn't know they were Rush fans either until Lifeblood. I guess it wasn't 'cool' to be admit to being a Rush fan until the early 2000's.

I've actually always loved 'This is Yesterday'. Good choice, boys!

Don't get excited everyone, it could just mean Sean has been filming his high scores on the XBox!

Or else I presume the filmed sessions will end up on Postcards From A Young Man: Super Turbo-Charged Premium Deluxe Memento Box Set II - Final Ultimate Anniversary Edition (With Free Bunch Of Flowers Version) With Cheese And Mayonaise - CD, DVD, Vinyl, Book, Poster, Keyring, Blu-ray HD-DVD, Mini-Disc, Cassette, VHS, Wax Cylinder, 8-Track, Betamax + T-Shirt, Sweatshirt, Hoodie, Canoe and Toothbrush - One of 300 limited edition numbered versions that when bought from Sony includes a stickered and hand-decorated scarf hand-woven by the band itself using their own hair. £950.95 + taxes and shipping. A.K.A. 'Postcards 2011 Set' for Twitter purposes.
