I've made it through to the end of both remixes back to back. Not as background music, actually listening to them. To quote Nicky, "it CAN be done".

Has anyone else managed to join this most hardcore of clubs? Be honest now. It's not for the weak, it's the listening equivalent of running an Ultra Marathon. I can spot a fraud a mile (or 46) off.

You're a brave woman, DK. I got through 20 seconds before I had to listen to cats wrestling in a chip pan fire.

9 Extra tracks recorded for this album apparently:

Owen Wilkinson: Are B-sides dead?

J: B-sides are dead but we went and created at least nine extra tracks for this album so we’re going to find something there. There’s one, actually, which I think could have been on the album. But it’s another instrumental and we couldn’t have another instrumental on there.

N: There’s one called ‘Anti Social Manifesto’, which was close as well.

J: So they may be dead, but we’ll keep on doing ‘em.

Anti-Social Manifesto is listed as being on the Japanese CD versions of Futurology. The other Japanese exclusive track is called Kodawari, could possibly be the instrumental mentioned maybe?

The amount of instrumentals they've been doing lately, I'm surprised this album isn't the Manics equivalent of Low.

They're fine, I'd have a good dance to them in a club, but I dunno how they can even be called remixes when they're pretty much completely different but with samples.

I could not resist buying it at that price!

Same price on Google Play. Or pay $1.29 for each track.

I'm new so I'm still kind of lost with all the amazing things to read and comment in this forum, I have a question... the building featured on the back in the sleeve of the Walk Me to the Bridge single.. is that a famous building?? I'm just curious, I'm from South America, so sorry for not knowing, i'm assuming os somewhere in Europe, anyway hope to hear from you guys

Cheers and God Save the Manics!

I would like to see them release EPs if b-sides are being phased out.

I thought both of the Erol Alkan remixes were fantastic - but then I've always been a fan of remixes of the Manics (the Mogwai Remix of You Stole The Sun From My Heart really clicking for me) and I adore the JFPL remixes.

I'd have a remix counterpart of every album done if I could.

Also: why wasn't Europa Geht Durch Mich released as a single? Yet more 'why I oughtta'...
