S.I.P (Theme From M.A.S.H) has been included as it's from the era - 1991/92. Suicide Alley was released in 1988 - 4 years before GT was even released. I don't understand why people are complaining about it. A lot of the demos included on the re-released were done in 1991.

Having said that, there is a valid argument in the sense Suicide Alley was later included as a b-side to "Little Baby Nothing" in 1992. However, I think the original Suicide Alley as opposed to the one included as a b-side is the better version.

Hey hey. £100 is not a confirmed figure. Let's not get in a flap.

Not buying it if it is. A stand needs to be made.

I'm well aware of that, but there is a demo on there and not the original version. It's still not easy to get other than a bootleg download.

Wait and see what the official details are. I am very suspicious of that leaked image.

True, maybe it'll be a little better than that.

Only a couple of new songs at present. The DVD and those are the main attraction. I'll be a Legacy edition buyer. I've always like those.

I'm curious about "Spent All Summer". I've never, ever, heard of this song in all my years as a committed, conflicted, Manics fan. No article has ever mentioned such a title.

true, between Suicide Alley and GT there were Feminine is Beautiful, New Art Riot and Heavenly singles. Although I think it would be nice to have them all on a compilation like PRE-SONY SONGS and very early demos instead of adding them on the GT reissue.

I'd heard that Another Invented Disease was pieced together in the studio and the band couldn't play it live. As it's a demo that clearly wasn't the case? Sooner have a live disc personally.

Maybe Sony don't have the rights to put the Heavenly recordings on the re-issue?

Pretty sure Sony have the rights to the Heavenly stuff considering they've all appeared in some form under Sony already (Lipstick Traces, Forever Delayed DVD) and I don't think that sort of thing would expire (plus if that tracklist is true, it's all there in the reissue anyway). It's the pre-Heavenly stuff that's probably out of their reach.

They included New Art Riot in the National Treasures box and UK Channel Bordeom in this one, so they have the rights to everything now. (The Repeat and New Art Riot demos are likely to be the ones on Feminine Is Beautiful.)

Looking at the track lengths, disc 3 must start with Go Buzz Baby Go and they've also included Behave Yourself Baby (how did they slip that one in without protestations from JDB?). They really have gone back a long way with this one.

The other new titles could be renamed familiar demos.

I love getting excited about re-releases, even when you have most of the stuff anyway

I was gonna say - how much of this is actually new that we haven't had sat on hard drives for 10 years or more? I hope the research for these tracks involved more than popping down to Camden Market to buy a bootleg
