She's a lunatic. I'm sure we've discussed her on here before, and I'm pretty sure the consensus was that she was quite a horrifying character.

It's clearly bollocks, but then the idea of "spirit guides" is obviously bollocks too, let alone Richey being one.

Has anyone spoken to her? I just discovered her page on Sunday and that day she was on a radio show. I phoned in for a live reading but almost everything she was telling me about myself seemed like a load of nonsense. I emailed her under a different name and asked her about this Richey thing. She said that Richey's family and the Manics are aware of her and some of them go to her shows and get in touch with Richey that way. Has anyone else had any personal dealings with her? She says she's doing some shows with Richey this month in my area and I should go along. What do you think?

I'm sure the family are aware of her, but I'd be highly sceptical about her claim that they go to her to contact him.

If you want to hear someone pretend to talk to somebody who may or may not be dead anyway then fine, but I can't think of anything more pointless myself.

Her claims also make the glaring assumption that Richey is dead, which hasn't even been proved in itself, unless he's guiding her from that family-run petrol station in Japan where the other "psychic" said he was.

There's also another psychic I've heard of, I can't remember his name, he worked for the police helping solve cases I think and he says that Richey is still alive. I haven't read the book but I read a review of it that says it's very convincing.

Richey's family only declared him presumed dead for legal/ financial reasons. The idea that they now suddenly believe him to be actually dead and go to a medium to contact their son during a public performance is pretty laughable.

I don't think that you should go because a) mediums are fake and b) it's only supporting her ridiculous self-publicising, and an act which I'm sure is very hurtful to his family and the band.
