this album will prolly leak faster. hits and mass communication means a lot more promos, a more whoring approach to media, and a strategy for social media. it looks pretty 'done' and i'd guess the album is leaked in a month, top two.

Haven't trawled through all of this thread, but I get the impression the response isn't all that positive on the whole? Personally, I have love for SATT and think it's a fantastic album, and can't wait for this !

Nicky did a short interview with Matt Dyson (fittingly enough) on XFM today.

More of what's been said already, but straight from the horse's mouth.

This quote made me LOLZ!!1!!one!

Quote:
“Touring is getting slightly problematic due to the set-list”, he said. “We literally have so many songs, we’re like the indie Rolling Stones. The set-list gets longer, the choice of songs get harder."
So, you just trot out the same stuff over and over again...

What the hell is the reason that Nicky can choose the songs??? I think that this is the huge problem of Manics' set...

They should do what SFA did once and put all their songs into a bingo machine and play whatever came out!

I doubt James remembers the words to all their songs. Or Nicky the basslines.

but at least he remembers all the basslines he recorded himself. And if not then...at least he remember all the basslines he created. And if not then...he at least remembers all basslines on his solo album....

If only his basslines weren't so immensely complicated...

from that interview its strange that they've announced the album and haven't finished it yet. i'm guessing all these extra bits and pieces will be on the deluxe edition

Oh what a surprise, you're from Birmingham and claiming that something in Coventry is shit. We've not heard that one before, like when your council released the top ten most hated places in the country survey and tried to claim everyone had voted for Coventry on the same week that Coventry had announced their airport was going commercial.

Don't be afraid of competition, Wolves might get a better ground some day.
