From supporting Macca to these guys, what a shame!

Shouldn't Kings Of Leon be supporting the Manics??

It makes good business sense for the band when you think about it. Those KOL fans really will lap up any old shit in their millions.

seems they don't want to just play to their own audience. James must love those nerves

An excellent way to reach another band's casual record-buying fanbase, they didn't really play to those people when supported Foo Fighters or McCartney. I'd prefer the Manics following KOL, but either way it'd be good to see, I like KOL.

It does seem like they're putting a bit more effort in now which is good. Maybe they'll even play some more new songs!

Sounds.....good. Unless of course KOL have another hissy fit on stage then the Manics can come back on again!

That's taking it a bit too far I think! If they won't play new songs in front of a Manics audience they won't in front of a KOL one.

i like them too...trying to get tickets for them is awful tho. It's funny cos i remember james saying they were boring live bu its who you're playing to that matters not whether you like the band you're supporting.

It's a funny one with KOL, they can replicate the songs perfectly live and Caleb's voice is amazing, but they can't put on a show or to save their lives.

Yeah, I've heard the same. I watched them on TV at some festival or other last year and they were pretty dull. I prefer it when bands do something different with the songs when they play them live. There didn't really seem to be any audience interaction either which is a shame. Horses for courses though I guess...
