I think it’s a lovely song, and like most (maybe all?) of the album, the lyrics beautifully layers the personal, the specific, the historical and the universal simultaneously, if I can put that way without sounding too over the top.

The song sounds like it should have been a b-side to Suede's Coming Up.

Yeah pretty good after a single listen, the 'chorus' of the single word like Bones or whatever the other was made me frown a little at first. I liked the guitar solo. Shame it's just so short. Quite anthemic. Another dull 'lyric video' though.

I'm liking this right now, it's in my head after two listens this morning.

That's three decent tunes out of four now, the only disappointment to me is Dylan & Caitlin. I can't get into that but as for the rest, it's quite impressive so far.

Out of the 4 tracks I’ve heard so far this wasn’t the most immediate of them but a few listens and it’s firmly implanted in my head now. It’s going to make a great sing-a-long live, can’t wait for next week now [/RIF Virgin]

Can't get the solo and "Ahhhhhhs" out of my head at the moment!

I'm pretty impressed that Wire plays the solo in it. But I really really hope you doesn't play it live.

Been listening to this all day long. Cant remember any song made such an impact on me. I absolutely love it. Best of the four "singles" in my opinion. The best single for ages. A song full of pride, optimism, sadness and energy. Too beautiful for this world. Just had to say it. Beautiful things deserve a.
