Yes, Geocities was closed last year, but the Internet Archive site made a special effort to archive all the GC sites before that. Here's the last saved version of the site mentioned: http://web.archive.org/web/200602122...olic/index.htm
Unfortunately, the mp3s don't work (obviously, not saved). But, you can at least read what they are.

It's a shame about Geocities. The absence of a working version of that page on the Internet is a genuinely tragic loss to Manics fandom!

Maybe we can put some of the clips up somewhere - I have quite a few of them saved and I'm sure between everyone on FD we have a large collection of Nicky rants.

I've just figured out what James said after Nicky's DJ rant on Millenium Eve.

Nicky slagged off the DJs down at the ice rink as just a 'bunch of blokes playing records', and James said something along the lines of 'cheers mate, Zoe Ball's interviewing me tomorrow.'

Thanks for the link. Too bad I can't hear the mp3s, but this is also great! I love Nicky ranting, it always makes me smile/laugh.
I'd like him to rant again, there's plenty of ranting material now, more than ever.

But he's pretty quiet, lately. C'mon, Nicky, wake up! RANT!
