Think the mould was broken with the Manics which means that Nicky's knees/back/liver/body, James's larynx and Sean's arms had better last a few more years (another 20 please)

Got mine! It was Townsend I had ordered it from but never got the dispatch email. Looking forward to listening to it tonight!

There are only a select few bands I'd really bother with listening to demos by, love the Natwest-Barclays-Midlands-Lloyds and Another Invented Disease ones so far. Motorcycle Emptiness was a bit crap, miles better live anyway. Can't wait to get onto the third disc and dvd. Wonder what else they've got hoarded away. I just like the image of most bands leaving stuff like this up to the label to look after and Nicky finding cassettes in a box in the attic.

I don't know if it's been talked already, but who is the female singer on 'Little Baby Nothing' (House in the Woods demo)?

I just received the legacy edition and it's bloody awesome. <3

I'm not sure, it's not Traci Lords? Aw I wish the booklet went a bit more in depth with some notes from the band about their memories etc.

I'm enjoying Another Invented Disease too. As for Motorcycle... I know I'm terribly biased as it's one of my two favourite songs ever but... When I started listening to it I thought it would have been okay without the fucking abysmal 'drums'. But then partway through James started to sound like he had a frog in his throat. You can still hear the potential in it but that fucking drum machine... And I say this as someone who has no issue re: drums(/lack thereof) on the album version! Eurgh.

Of course the webstore sells out of the damn box set right as I go to buy it with the money I amassed from selling other records I actually would've rather kept.

FUck me running.
