The Worst James Vocal?

I think I find his voice on TLORN to be one that really grates on me. I don't like how deep he sounds.

I actually really like the vocals on that.

Spectators of Suicide however....

I only listen to the Heavenly gig version.

Yes, I agree. It is quite a laboured vocal and he also messed up the line " The losing card I'll some day lay" to " The losing card of some delay".

There isn't anything on the records that bothers me that much.
And I know I'm being unfair it's more difficult to do two things at once etc... but I find his live voice a bit hit and miss.
Sorry TGW!

Nothing annoys me or sounds bad from James in my opinion, although hearing his high pitched voice on something early like UK Channel Boredom is hilarious.

Off the top of my head:

Glasnost
So Why So Sad
Gold Against The Soul

It's less I think he delivers the vocals poorly, just don't like the "style" he's singing in these particular songs for his voice.

Likewise on record
Sometimes live I fear his voice is about to crack, but on record, nothing

(what's TLORN short for? I'm possibly being very thick but I find acronyms confusing... they take on a life of their own. I read it and I was thinking "The World Is Not Enough"? "The Lord of the Rings Now"? Arrrgrghhh brain behave!)

The Love Of Richard Nixon.

A fanbase's tendency to use acronyms + 20 year back catalogue = confusion.

Yeah. I thought it was Nicky singing it to begin with. I remember seeing the video when it came out and was like... wtf....

You have a point, but as you said it is incredibly difficult to play lead and sing.
