Death of a Polaroid

Dunno if this has been posted already but HMV are doing the Death of a Polaroid book for £4.99... and if you buy it you can get the single CD version of RTW for £7.99.

My girlfriend bought it for me for Christmas last year and it's signed by Nicky. I dread to think how much she paid for it!

I've somehow ended up with another one. My other one had had some bad sun bleaching happen to it's cover though so this was good

They had hundreds of them in HMV Birmingham. If there's ever a power shortage I know what'll act as fuel for a few years...

I saw a battered-looking one in HMV Manchester (near Arndale shopping mall) last week and felt really sorry for the poor, unloved thing.

Loads in Guildford HMV too. The chap said that they were down to £3 each but they were stickered at £4.99

Didn't grab one though as HMV had ran out of carrier bags.

I paid 20 euros before one of the gigs, the guys in the stand kept it for me through the gig so it wouldn't be smashed when I'd been jumping furiously, ran quickly to the stand and picked it up, just in time to have it signed by Nicky. Best thing ever, never regretted spending so much on it, it's beautifully made and it's pink and it's Nicky's.

I saw a signed one in the HMV at Trafford Centre a few months back, fuck knows how it got there. Wankers wanted £30 for it though.

True!
I really like the book. Admittedly, at first I was a tad disappointed by the lack of band pictures - I had expected something in the vein of a sequel to forever delayed - but Wire's photography is very accomplished and the layout is very beautiful (if, like me, you like things in baby pink occasionally).
