Futurology (single)
Am I the only person who doesnt get the instrumental section on the opening track? This is a great opener but I was gearing up for a searing JDB solo that doesn't really arrive. Or am I just missing the point? Still a 9/10 from me though

To me it seems like the most obviously Rush-inspired section they've had

Ssssoooo.... What do you think about the video, everybody?
I like the dynamicity of it, the movements of the effects on the slideshow fit in the song pretty well. Although I found it slightly too fast for my brain sometimes, but I think it fits. The funny thing is, however, the intro to the video would make me expect a darker sound if I wouldn't know Futurology.

That'd be one way to sell piles of records.

They'll find talking about the song as uncomfortable as discussing Lifeblood in a few years.

I think the Demo, with Nicky singing all of it, makes much more sense. The part James is singing is not melodic enough for him.
This said, I can't stop humming it after I've heard it once in a day. P.S. Sony music Germany has posted a link to the video for us "overseas people" to watch without problems: http://www.vevo.com/watch/manic-stre...9/GB1101400488 |

This is the first single since Faster not to include the song title within the chorus, or indeed the song. (unless you include the fact that "then" isn't in the title of If You Tolerate This Your Children Will Be Next). Indeed there are only 3 singles without the title in the song Stay Beautiful, Faster, Futurology.
