Wire sung (actually it was more like spoken word) the lyrics to Spirit of Radio the last time they played Toronto. This time it was James doing all the tribute stuff.
Yeah, I think it's only because they were in Toronto. Sorry, bud!

You wouldn't have seen me as I was at the back behind the side bar to the right. You probably heard me screaming while Wire was giving a very poignant speech about Richey. The entire audience was silent, out of respect presumably, except me. Ha! I hear Richey's name and I loose my shit! LOL! Sorry Wire!

Ok, that's what I thought he was saying. Kind of sort of agree, but that's a topic for another time. Cheers for the recap.

Haha! That's hilarious! Do you remember what song they were playing when that happened?

Not mine. Grabbed it from Manicstmania's twitter. I did watch the event, sort of. Was mainly on James' side.

Our seats were in the balcony - coz I'm too old to stand that long!! My knees can't handle it anymore. But I embarrassed myself by jumping up to applaud (and give my own standing ovation) at the end of THB, before James started the little acoustic bit. I forgot my purse was on my knee and it went rolling out in the aisle. Luckily it was zipped up tight, or the contents would have spilled out all over the place. I'm such a twit. Plus - at one point - I may have yelled, "We love you James!" I was also doing a lot of 'Wooh-ing" and clapping (I clap really loudly). I apologize to all who were sitting around me, as I was quite noisy. And I wasn't drinking - I just got carried away by the excitement. (I'm too old for THAT too!)

It was an amazing show - just amazing.

I hope they'll come back to Toronto, and North America, soon, the reviews of the gigs are so enthusiastic, you really love them there, it's good to read it.
