Would be worth them doing just to sort out the album on Spotify. Artwork looks weird, and Freedom of Speech features the last few seconds of Baby Elian again, which then cuts off the end of Freedom of Speech. So irritating.

Yeah, I'm not actually that fussed about it having a different tracklist, as long as the original remains in print. Buggering around with old stuff as fine so long as the new version doesn't replace the old. You can no longer buy the original mixes of Mike Oldfield's first three albums in a record shop - the (awful) 2008/2009 mixes are the default versions now, while the deluxe 2/3CD editions with the original versions are long out of print. I hate this. Whereas the original versions of SATT and TIMT are still in print as the standard editions with the original tracklist.

Has anyone come across any mention of potential release date? It's going to be a very busy year what with KYE reissue, two new MSP albums and Nicky's latest.

Think that just means KYE reissue + new album

UEF 03-01-2021 00:01

Yeah I think there’s only one new new one in the running (although I suppose they could write another)

I'm expecting no less than two new albums after this lengthy break and quarantine!! James did once say he regrets not releasing more albums over the years. Now's yo chance :)

An announcement soon would be nice. Put a bit of life into this place and give us something to look forward to.

Has there really been any reason for them not releasing so many albums. I get the feeling that two thirds of the band have never been big fans of touring?

Hahahaha! I was going to bump this thread with a "Made ya click!" just before.
So... If following the remix placement of GATS then spoiler the CD will probably end with this cassette only Ellis Island Sound remix of Ocean Spray https://youtu.be/uOtNInU1nCU
Looking forward to that remastered.

According to Wiki entry, So Why So Sad was released on 26th of February.
So probably let thread die until then for announcement?
And got mixed up in last thread. It should be Felix Da Housecat's remix of Let Robeson Sing that you should listen to after imaging listening to the reissue.
Of course if stuff announced earlier. But late February my estimate.
No idea how long to release. But anyway, KYE released in March 2001. So...
I have done things and something with my life twenty years later I have done things and something with my life twenty years later

a March release would be AMAZING. One can hope

It's always quietest before the Manics announcement...
