Wouldn’t it be great if Elasticband, sorry Kontraband, no Ceremony of Roses sent out our orders ‘early’ (maybe next Tuesday) & we all got the physical copies before it drops on streaming!!! That should have zero effect on chart ranking etc, & would give us a chance to create a buzz on socials before Friday.

Have I missed this week's "the album is delayed" announcement.

I believe they have delayed an announcement for a further delay due to postmodern irony issues, so because the announcement has been delayed it is now scheduled to be announced after the album is already released, thereby eliminating itself in a puff of temporal logic.

Signed copies of the delayed non-announcement won't be available from a handful of independent record shops, because a shipment of the marker pens the band were planning to use have been delayed, and by the time they get here the ink will have dried out, so it's lucky that the announcement has been postponed when you think about it (which I really don't suggest or recommend, at least... not yet.)

God, 'Decline & Fall's release feels like a lifetime ago.

I think this is proof that the band / their marketing team read this forum and are deliberately fucking with us.

They defintely read the forum. And I also think the delay is very much on purpose.

I'm personally loving this preCT_ period. Got my expectations all the way down to "Getting a new Manics album". In fact, we might get deliveries the day before it's released. It's cool, everything is ok.

Get the impression the whole album package is really well done…maybe I should get the indie exclusive red version :lol: (currently I have 4 out of the 7 vinyl versions on order :good: )

Haven't saw anything yet that photograph gets me anxious a vinyl rip video could possibly go online. As if not enough to worry about.

I’d imagine it’s more the case that you have to really get shipping to New Zealand ahead of time, so it was already booked for them to get that.

The various colour versions are probably all UK specific and then there’s also the question of gaming the charts which could be the real reason for the delay
