Same here so it’s obviously an iTunes fuck up.

Wondered what people were talking about with the sample (I heard it on Jools and wondered earlier about what’s going on) but I put the CD on this afternoon and it’s there.

Listened to it through a couple of times now. Initial thoughts are it's a very warm '80's sounding album. Not taken with the title track at all but love Onemanmilitia (what chance of 'even my dreams are intellectual' appearing on a tour t-shirt???). James's vocal delivery on some of the tracks sounds quite late 90's B side. Really like Being Baptised and My Brave Friend. Margo Marmalade (my cat) was obviously very much taken with Out of Time Revival as she started zooming round the room.

Sometimes I don't fully make my mind up about a Manics album until I've heard it live, so roll on the tour.

It wasn't/isn't there on the iTunes single that came out some months back but is on the iTunes album version. When I pre-ordered the album and got the first two tracks it downloaded two versions of Decline and Fall, both track 2, one with the intro and one without so yeah it's screwy.

Odd that they'd clobber one track but not the other? I think Johatsu is the best track of the lot!

I downloaded the singles when I pre-ordered the album but when it downloaded today they were missing and remained as standalone singles. Eventually managed to move them across to the album but the sample isn’t there.

Sounds like we did the same thing so how did you get the album versions? Did you have to piss about in iTunes or did they just arrive?

My Brave Friend is my fav new track definitely.

It’s the first one of the new songs that clicked immediately. Beautiful little number.
