After my first few listens, this is just dull.
It's as if they thought "let's just rewrite SATT but overkill it with strings and make it pointlessly camp."
I'm not expecting them to deny their huge arena rock tendencies, that's when they're often at their best, but this is just too much. If the songs were there to back it up, I'd understand, but I don't. I thought they'd been back on form in recent years. Very disappointing. Where do they go from here?
