The perils of using FD from a smartphone I'm afraid lovesean4ever...

And I agree with your last comment, most albums have all the best songs first but like you say PFAYM doesn't make that mistake. In my opinion anyway.

Postcards is no8 in the play.com pre-order chart. Kings of Leon is no1 :D

SATT with balls is my description.
INWJTEOL is probably the weakest for me, lyrically and musically.
I had my reservations, but I'm mightily impressed :)
The title track is amazeeee

Scout Finch 17-09-2010 18:44

Ah, I hadn't heard the title track til I bought the album. It's really good.

Scout Finch 17-09-2010 19:11

Bits of Golden Platitudes' guitar sound like Mama Told Me Not to Come.

Sorry if anyone's said that, I just noticed.

Just got home from work, with the album. Gonna spend the rest of the evening listening, drinking wine and smoking cigarettes - I'm so happy =)

Order yours from Townsend? Mine should arrive on Monday but as with the single still going to HMV!

Hennus 17-09-2010 20:04

I cheated. Got it from the record store where I work..
As an added bonus to this day, the singles arrived in the mail today.
AND the 2CD edition was shipped 2 days ago, so should be here soon.

The Gutless Wonder 17-09-2010 20:08

Lots of listening for you then Hennus! :D

So the 7", the Disc 2 of the single and the 2disc album with the b-sides are all only available on the internet?

Scout Finch 17-09-2010 21:26

No, the 7" and 2 disc version of the album are available in shops; I bought mine yesterday.
