just seen an advert for the album on sky one.

it has colin bastard murray doing the voice-over.

which means i've finally found something to dislike about the album :-)

I want to see this TV advert. I remember seeing one for Lifeblood and being shocked and seeing it but never seen one since.

Gone on Postcards! Go for the album charts' jugular!

Saw the advert today on Channel 4 at lunchtime, and got the album yesterday. It's like a more subdued version of SATT.

The Gutless Wonder 19-09-2010 19:45

Like it then?

This may have been posted, but nick nasmyth is on it! :D

Bloody hell, he's everywhere at the mo'.

Don't mind him too much though, as long as his voice-over doesn't give the wrong impression about the album.

Would've been worst if it was that phony Edith Bowmen.

Yes, how the fuck did that happen? Can we look forward to the megadrive keyboards on the tour then?

I think it's already been posted that he's banned from touring with the band for some reason, not sure why though.

Naysmith makes this album good! :P Last time I saw Naysmith was on the April 2005 tour. I always remember him on TOTP doing Empty Souls and even though they were miming he was loving it, nodding his head and banging his foot about....Why am I talking about him??
Great album, had it on tons of times this weekend since I got it yesterday in the post. I think tracks 6 and 7 aren't very memorable at all, nor is the Nicky song (although I can't get that stupid Godfather line out of my head, I kept singing it earlier to myself and then laughing out loud). I give it 7.5 / 10.

doesn't neccessarily give the wrong impression of the album, but it puts me off the advert.
nasal-voiced twat.

The Gutless Wonder 19-09-2010 20:22

I like Colin.

everlasting 19-09-2010 20:24

Proper loving Billion Balconies....my 2 year nephew and 5 year old niece were jumping around and dancing when I had it on earlier in my room, so there you go.

The Gutless Wonder 19-09-2010 20:28

That's brilliant Everlasting! :D Ah, who cares about the public at large, I'm gonna enjoy getting my copy of Postcards home and listening to it VERY loudly!
