The Future Sound of London (& various aliases).
Their discography gives an idea of how much money one has to spend on them. |
What if Wattsville Blues won the toss over the one chord song for at least having more than one chord?

I always say it but it's always worth saying - the second side of KYE from Dead Martyrs on is their strongest run of songs on any album outside of EMG and THB.

KYE is such an underrated album. A fascinating album and a weird era that produced some of the most interesting music and best gigs they’ve done. |

I used to really like KYE but I think they’ve done much better stuff since (as well as SATT)

We’re lucky we have observant people on here spotting tidbits of info in dead tree publications to drum up interest in a waning fanbase but they really need to engage in the digital space more if they want to retain it.

I really don't get the significance of saying a dead tree? In a post about digital or paper. People spend money on the albums, books, cds, tickets etc. I often do. Perhaps a lack of fans on a forum is more about posts trying to bring people down, rather than an interest in the band or what type of media read about the band. Quite sad.

I'm looking forward to buying the Record Collectors Manics special in early October when it comes out, hope it's packed full of cool info and photos, etc :) Hoping the band can get some TV appearances to help get them back into the public's eye. I was chatting to a lass the other day at work about seeing the Manics next month and she was like "I've never heard of them". Even though she knows some older rock bands, I told her she needs to educate herself haha.

Well if any Manics PR people are reading this. One idea for YouTube that I've seen other bands do is put up pictures of themselves with a link to the video. Stories I think. I haven't got that ability myself.
