Abysmal. Like the last 14 years of creative evolution never happened, this is straight back to the dark days of PFAYM and its TV theme tune singles.

Thank you! Interesting that they've not announced the album with the single, that's been the norm for the past few albums at least. Perhaps there will be a longer gap than usual between first single and the release of the album.

They sound like they're enjoying themselves but it doesn't do much for me so far after three listens. Too familiar, business as usual, final act Manics.

They just needed to drop the piano, they got rid of the strings thankfully but needed to finish off the job. I'm quite disappointed with the song overall, but I hope it grows on me. The way this is going, the majority of us won't want the album and there are already a lot of negative comments on social media.
