Yeah, of course they do, otherwise albums would only come up with having about 10 sales.

They do count, but I think they would have a far less significant impact then the singles chart.

The question remains, why the fuck would anyone buy it on itunes when you can get it for £3.99 on amazon?

a lot of urban legends get spread around, one of which is "if you play mp3s from any source but itunes they will break your ipod".

it's easy to mock people who hear this kind of thing and accept it, but rather give them a break for they do not know better - i know of people who still believe that if you talk whilst recording something off TV then your voice gets recorded on the video.

Oh no, I'm really sorry if that came across as harsh, I was just clarifying that downloads do count and that physical sales alone wouldn't be representative, it wasn't meant to be snappy.

And I'm fine LS4E

Step awaaaay from the computer, James. It's for your own good

It occurred to me on the way to work this morning that Hazelton Avenue sounds like Real Girl by Mutya Buena.

I saw that in Lincoln HMV for £4 this morning. It didn't have the remixes cd with it but that's a damn good bargain for anyone starting out on a manics quest.

They had loads of the 2 cd set postcards in but I can't afford it yet. By the time I can they would have all bloody gone.
