i rarely wear mine for fear of them fading ..dunno why i buy them to be honest
|
Had no fading problems with my SATT ones. Seem to be quite hardwearing. Get a bit of black ink coming out occasionaly from the tee itself, the logo is fine.
|
My ones from that tour have been ok too. As have the others from this tour. Just the white one has suffered. Still wearing it though - just tempted to spend a few hours touching it up with a fabric pen.

Having been initially fairly cool toward PFAYM, I have to say it's starting to grow on me. It's certainly nowhere near their best work but it's starting to feel sort of comfy, like a jumper. There's a relaxed, easy-going feel to the whole thing. And those drums at the start of 'All We Make...' still seem to threaten a(nother) pure disco track every time I hear it!
How's everyone else feeling about the record a couple of months on from release? |
Still love it
|
I've had it on my mp3 and found it's a very good album to work out in the gym too. Especially the end of Postcards 'I will not give up and I will not give in'
|
I still like it and am able to drown out the voices in my head that go "They should have bought out Golden Platitiudes as the first single? Golden Platitudes! It would have been like that bit in 'The Karate Kid' where it looks like he's broken his arm but then he hasn't?"
And because those voices have been drowned out, my appreciation for the album still florishes. |
Still love the album.

Class Album.
I LOVE it more and more each listen. |
It's grown on me. JFPL & EMG were the first two full albums I listened to after starting with Forever Delayed, and at first I wasn't sure of it in comparison to those two. But I've ended up listening to it more and more and I really like some of the songs I was indifferent to to begin with, like SKON and Platitudes. For me, the best songs are PFAYM, SKON and Platitudes, and I do find The Descent quite soothing to listen to. Not in my top 3 Manics albums, but like Lifeblood, somewhere comfortably in the middle...I suppose I'll always have some sort of affection for it because it's the first album that's come out since I've been a fan!

After hearing The Future Has Been Here 4Ever live I've started to like it. Shame the gospel choir ruins some of it, bit hey ho.
