Right, in the queue I was stood with Franny, Dean V, Blue Cat and Glitterbaby. I was wearing my black SATT hoodie and a black hat with earflaps. Blue jeans and light grey walking shoes which I was extremely grateful for! Once inside I had my BSP tee on display for the first half and then removed it as I had my Manics tee underneath. I was almost directly in front of James, second row behind RockJunkie, her friend and Kevin Hyland. A girl just behind me had a pink top on I think. What about you Postcards?

I was so jealous of your walking shoes. It took me til halfway through the manics set for my feet to stop being ice cubes.

It only started to get really hot coming up to about half way through the Manics set. Was quite chilly whilst BSP were on so wearing two t-shirts was the right decision in the end! And my feet didn't get overly hot thankfully!

yeah, we had a breeze over our way oddly enough, I didn't realise the building would be windy
I kept my coat on until just before the manics came onstage!

Thank god people were passing water back, that was nice...I nearly died!

I guess we have talked about the Brum gig, and at the front, a lot of people looked like they didn't fit, and only knew TIMT and EMG songs, it was weird!

There was a massive group of 'lads' in the middle who went mad at the EMG/TIMT songs, but were bemused when me and my friends were singing along to any of the others!

It was funny though, when James started the acoustic section and one of them said "I fooking hate You Stole The Sun,fooking hate it"

I was extremely relieved about getting water because I had intended to get a drink before heading towards the stage but I just ended up wandering over and couldn't be bothered losing my place!

Yeah I heard a few like that. I had someone who would just shout P.C.P. And out of nowhere this big kid in a grey hoodie stood in front of me...he didn't pogo, sing, or even look happy! Great people though, I must say. What side were you on?

Exactly the same with me! Plus I didn't want to go to the toilet while the gig was on!

I liked the traditional Sleepflower request.

Yeah, we had to have 'him' didn't we!

I think I timed my water intake just right cos I didn't need the loo til after the gig. I thought the venues facilities in that way were very good. Plenty of toilets.

There were loads of people in the middle shouting for Masses. Probably best for James' voice that it didn't happen! I just remember singing to GP and the man next to me looking down at me really strangely

Great venue! Best gig I've been to.

The Gutless Wonder 15-12-2010 21:55

I was singing everything. From when BSP started til MSP finished!

I sang Waving Flags, but didn't know any others, but I'm definitely checking them out! Seeing them in February! Setlist was great!
