At least I regard them as if not directly political then at least commenting lyrics. Different from Tubthumping's liquor lyrics anyway (like pretty much all their lyrics are). If you're really bothered, just read through some of the album lyrics.

I dunno exactly what happened, it's just one of those cool stories that comes up in conversation once every few months. She used to really like them so I dunno why she lamped him. Something to do with an argument outside one of their gigs in the late 80s apparently.

Read an interview once where they said Richey deserved death for his obsessive behaviour, which was quite charming I suppose...

Pretty contradictory saying they're nothing like the Fratellis, when they released a footy chant then faded away into obscurity, releasing stuff that the masses have never heard...

But unlike The Fratellis the rest of their discography isn't a bunch of other pub chants.
