What radio station do you think would get the first play of the album?
I reckon Absolute could sneak a first play of the lead single, but I'm torn between 6 Music and Radio 1 for the rest?

XF as well, isn't Nicky somehow connected to XFM?

Haven't the past few first tasters of new Manics albums been given their first airplay as Zane Lowe's HOTTEST REKAWRD IN THA WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARLDD!!!!!!!!? So I think there's a fair chance of that happening again.

Agree also it's a good chance it will air on XFM anyhow, I can't wait for the new album. I'm dying to hear how it going to be.

HMV list the deluxe edition as being 1 disc. Mind you, this far ahead of the release date they may not have all the facts and could be playing it safe.

I think it'll probably Radio 1, particularly with this whole 'last chance to connect with the masses' thing.

It would be cool if it's gonna be some random radio station that will play something from the album before the others, like that Polish one that played JCEQT a year ago.

They'll all get it at the same time with R1 playing it 10 minutes earlier

well a single i think will be out on Sept 13th or something.

the Polish one played Jackie Collins before Radio 1 something like 3 minutes before, and Zane's broadcast included telephone interview with Nicky. but Zane played censorshipped version and the Polish one was the album version. so we had the view for both.

If I remember right Your Love Alone was played by accident before the embargo on Dermot O Leary's Radio 2 show, doubt that'll happen again

I wonder if daytime Radio 1 will ever playlist the Manics again. Especially now with PFAYM set to be all 'mass communication." They've virtually ignored them since TBTGOG!

Radio 1 doesn't play any band who exist more than 10 years :lol: I really hope they will turn the Manics to there chanel.
