I hoping for some indie exclusive variants. HMV have an exclusive clear vinyl.

Best, and most emotive, manics video in years

Song is growing on me. Really enjoyed the video. Nice to see Wire given a front and centre role but feels a bit weird not hearing JDB sing.

His performance on the strat makes up for it tho 🙂

Love the video! :O It's a far cry from, say, International Blue. I'd much rather watch the Manics & friends sitting, reading books, and then rocking out than watch them standing aimlessly, looking fat and old.

Any track listing yet?

rosetree 25-10-2024 09:21

Omg such a lovely song and video

UEF 25-10-2024 09:22

Would that be the first video with Wayne or Nick in it?

Europa Gluten Free 25-10-2024 09:25

Finding it hard to resist the tat!

I know what you're going to say but Nick was in the Masses video...

All I’ve seen is
Track 7: Being Baptised
Track 8: My Brave Friend
Track 9: Out of Time Revival(?)

Going to add at this point - being half serious and half facetious - that though I've not written the band off completely and still feel they're capable of surprising and impressing me on a musical level, the title Critical Thinking is one of the most eyeroll inducing titles they've ever come out with. Using 'Orwellian' as a song title was bad enough, at this rate they're one step away from the WAKE UP, SHEEPLE!! tour.

It's a bit Stereophonics 'Keep Calm and Carry On' isn't it  that said, I'm sure we could do with a bit of critical thinking in public discourse.

Thanks - Just managed to Zoom in and make them out myself, find it a little strange that they've not detailed the track listing.
