The more I listen to HIPS, the more I think they should have done a proper - if low key - Manics album with Wire as the front man.

Was going to buy the 7" but the fact that postage and whatever is almost the price of the vinyl I cancelled in disgust. No thanks.
The aspect ratio for the video pisses me off, it was the same I remember for the video for People Give In. Sooooo wide, even on a widescreen TV. Looks awful. Kieran Evans strikes again!!! |

Really liked Decline and Fall but thought Nicky's track was a little flat and the backing vocal sounded like it should have been an octave higher like on the recording. Nicky did a good job though

They totally smashed that - sounded great - didn't know they changed venue for Jools ..used to be in some studio in Kent? Always sounded a bit off
