What would be the point in putting out a live disc from a tour supporting a different album with PFAYM anyway?

They'd be better off releasing it on its own.

To save releasing it on it's own.

If the deluxe edition has bonus stuff, I'll be happy. But there are things I want above a Journal live DVD.

I'd buy it just cos it's got a different barcode on it. :o

Indeed. Even if there was live footage from the JFPL shows, I highly doubt it would ever turn up as a second disc to a new, unrelated album.

..and making more money from the fans? Unlikely.

I'm hoping for a JFPL Live DVD from one of the dates last year or just extra tracks from PFAYM.[/QUOTE[/QUOTE]]

I thought the August gig was going to be recorded for the second disc? But that doesn't work as this would have slowed the mixing of CD down in time for release? I'm still holding a candle for my belief they'll just have tracks to download, no CD singles, but a second disc of b-sides.
It'll be sad to see the Manics single go, but if we got the extras it would make up for this. And free their recording scheldule up to just release individual songs from the album?

Have these been the most uselss 102 words I've ever typed on here?

They could record a gig and get it out within a month, I mean plenty of people edit these things live for TV, surely putting together footage for a (n almost free) DVD isn't going to be that challenging. Plus they wouldn't have to mix it much, a standard soundboard recording + a couple of cameras surely wouldn't be too hard for Sony.

All that industry standard equipment laying around in universities, any media studies course could scrape up enough talent to handle 3 or 4 cameras. Call it a field trip & presto, live dvd for next to nothing.

I'll do it for free. :)

I somehow doubt it though.

Maybe even Vertically Unlikely!

I think people are getting confused, what they're actually releasing is a Dulux Edition where you get some free paint with it

For the sake of my love of buying singles, I hope you're wrong. ;)

Another day, another Twitter about a b-side they've recorded? As if they are stockpiling? We'd be getting the song on the second disc anyway? Or are they preparing b-sides for an actual CD single in the coming weeks? I don't know. Those are my best guesses and I'm still enjoying the holiday away from Manic media hysteria... relax! Everything's beautiful!
