I was so hoping to meet the band after the Toronto gig, but all I got to see was James walking across the street to the tour bus. I was too out-to-lunch to even shout 'Great gig!'

TheGreatPretender's brother was more on-the-ball. He asked if we could come on the bus for a beer.

These stories are so lovely, I love how cool and easy to talk to this band is, it makes me even prouder to be a fan. James wishing a merry Christmas to everybody is adorable, aww he's so cute. :)

HAHA! Nah, it was actually one of their handlers that said "everyone on the bus for a beer!". My brother was just the most vocal about it only being a joke. I believe he quite loudly moaned "Awwwww!" when he realized the gentleman wasn't at all serious. Hey, what can I say, my brother likes beer! :)

i've been in cardiff for over a month now. i've seen a lot of things but i havent seen any manic street preachers. i honestly wouldnt go up to them if i saw them. when face to face with people in bands i like i just turn into a knob anyway.

I saw James in Cardiff in May I think it was.He was outside a cafe having a coffee.I just Waved and said Hey james how's things.He looked up waved and said Hi back.That was it really.I didn't go up to him at that time because he was busy on the phone,I didn't like to interupt him then, would of been rude.

Yeah. I wouldn't go to try and stalk anybody cos I'd be utterly rubbish at that anyway so no point even trying! Would be nice to catch a glimpse of one of them but I wouldn't approach them if they were busy, with family or whatever. Like Helen said, wouldn't want to be rude. I'd probably make an arse of myself!

I can't keep up with James. One minute he's in London the next he's back in Cardiff. He obviously enjoys his travelling!

Nicky doesn't live in Cardiff so he's harder to stalk, erm, i mean FIND. ;)

At least with his height you might have a better chance of spotting Nicky. I would be too scared to approach him though, especially if it was whilst randomly being out and about!

I saw Sean when i was shopping at Cribbs Causeway but didn't say anything and Nicky was stood next to me in WHSmiths at Reading services but i was too scared to say anything to him.

Well Newport can be a bit grim so i don't blame him for staying indoors!

Yeah he was sitting outside by himself with a fag and a coffee.He had a lovely dearstalker(think that's what they are called)hat on.We just happened to be walking past and he looked up as he was on the phone.Just pure luck we saw him.

I forgot about this.We saw Sean in Currys on the afternoon of the Millennium Gig in Cardiff.He bought some headphones and got out of the shop very quick then walked fast down the road with one of the crew.

We didn't see James in Cardiff yesterday but we met Joe Calzaghe in HMV.
He was doing a signing in HMV,so i got to speak to him and shake his hand.He is gorgeous (not as gorgeous as James ;))

In 2002 me and my friend went to those 2 Manics shows in a row in Cardiff. A few hours before the show we were walking down the street to KFC, decked out in our Manics gear, tiaras, feather boas, etc. The Manics came driving along in a limo and spotted us, Nicky wound the window halfway down and waved and screamed at us as they drove past. We were flattered that they had noticed us.

my colleague got her holy bible signed by james tho and she was lucky enough to get a hug and a 'happy christmas'!!.

his hair's grown a bit, nice quiff going on.
nicky has re-bleached his hair also.
