Nicky's had three years to come up with the lyrics because he didn't write anything for JFPL so it's not that soon for him.

But saying that, back in the great age of the 60's albums came out 10-12 months after each other in some cases! The Jam released the first few albums within months of each other so why is there so much emphasis that an album can only come out 2-3 years after the next one.

Just because it has been made faster than anticipated doesn't mean it'll be poor. For all we know they may have had these lying around since SATT. Don't forget JFPL was more of a 'concept' album. They knew what tehy wanted to do with it. I am excited for PFAYB. It is giving me a sense of hope. It will be ok :)

You could very well be right. I hope so anyway! All I have to go on here is that they have never released an album one year on after the previous one. So that does point to them trying to recoup losses made from the whole Journals project. US tour etc.

it's a new font or the one used on the FD? I prefer THB font.

Or they could just be on a 'creative streak' at the moment! :)

It's very, very similar to the FD font, but not exactly the same. At least not to my eyes.

I kinda like this part, waiting to see how the songs are received and speculating what the public will think of it, we're pretty much in the same boat as the band, that anxious feeling about what will happen.

I also didn't mind SATT, most of my mates don't care for it, but I still sing Autumnsong or the title track now and then. and the new energy from JFPL must be great for their songwriting chops. I personally can't wait , I think I'll go brixton both nights

Totally different font to me too!

Sorry. Big old fail on my part there. For some reason i thought GT was released in 91 and basically forgot that GATS came out in 93, a year before THB.

Yes, it seems to have a different aspect ratio.

Careful - judging from that other font thread, a sentence like that might get some users on here unduly excited... ;)

Let's hope so!

Sounds like a shitty romcom starring Amanda Seyfried and Gerard Butler.

Or a film directed by Tom Ford. With man-o-man action obviously.

I don't think so either. Sean and Nicky could stop making music and be content with life but not James.

I think people underestimate Sean and Nicky on this point.
