Where can I find Some Kind of Nothingness CD2?
Due to the fact that I am jobless & skint I have only just got round to ordering the Some Kind of Nothingness & Postcards From A Young Man single bundles. I have ordered the PFAYM single bundle from Townsend no problem, but cannot find SKON CD2 anywhere - have ordered the vinyl & CD1, but really want CD2 as well to complete the set & also to hear the B-side.
Anyone have any ideas where I can get this from? I have even checked Ebay but had no joy. Its like it never existed, but I guess it does exist...??!! There must be a CD2 lying around some where with my name on! And surely the track Slow Reflections/Strange Delays does exist. Please help! |
Thats a tough one. I heard even charity/cancer shops were rejecting it on the grounds of being absolutely shite.

I have a spare copy of CD 2 you can have for free if you like. PM me back if interested! :D

I'll sell you mine if you want. I don't know why I got it in the first place. It hasn't even been played.

Re Lydia
Do you mind me asking why you bought the singles &/or vinyl if you weren't interested in the b-sides as it probably took as much effort to order them as it would to listen to the CDs? I've loads of friends who aren't interested in b-sides, remixes etc but then again they don't waste their money on anything other than the LP which is their choice. Personally my biggest regret with JFPL was their decision not to release any proper singles, as once the excitement of the LP has worn off, I know I've got another LP's worth of material on the subsequent single releases. By the way, I thought LB's B-Sides were some of the best! |

And in response to the other question (too hard to quote on my phone), it's not like I buy the single with the intention of never listening to them. I mean to but never do. I think it's mainly force of habit. When I first got into the Manics they didn't release any singles for quite a while, so now I feel like I should buy new stuff if it's available, even though I'm not really into them anymore. I'll probably stop because it's a waste of money when I don't listen to it. |
