burnleybassman 06-09-2010 10:21

Sounds like they're coming up next.

Mr Inconspicuous 06-09-2010 10:27

He's keeping us waiting!:p

Better be a good interview, I had meant to leave for town by now.

Napoleon Bonaparte 06-09-2010 10:32

"Rage against the dying of the light"

"Last shot at mass communication"

"Kind 'a like"

"Strings & choirs"

"Everything Must Go"

wireobsessed 06-09-2010 10:34

Listening now, thanks for the info xx.

franny 06-09-2010 10:34

Yeah Ireland has always been special to us.

Yeah we'll play some time

Of course we'd love to see you there

wireobsessed 06-09-2010 10:36

Having a frustrating morning so hope this interview is good, hearing James and Nicky will be great though and should put a smile on my face.

nexberry 06-09-2010 10:36

Coming up next! :)

MSPKYE 06-09-2010 10:37

What a stroke of luck, only just got up :P

franny 06-09-2010 10:38

Here we go!

Mr Inconspicuous 06-09-2010 10:38

And we're off.:D

franny 06-09-2010 10:39

Ooh, state of the music industry, James' favourite

autumngirl 06-09-2010 10:40

he he, Nicky got a "kinda like, y'know" in before James did!

burnleybassman 06-09-2010 10:40

James' kinda'like y'knows in full force.

wireobsessed 06-09-2010 10:42

Surprise Nicky still seeks out the reviews in the music press, bet he's got a collection of all the cuttings!!

Still matters to James to, just gave a good plug to Q, Mojo, Word.

Lots of "Ya, knows" by the lovely James and he's mentioned Richey more than Nicky has so far.

franny 06-09-2010 10:43

They seem to think they're the only band who release albums these days!

Mr Inconspicuous 06-09-2010 10:45

Explaining the 'postcards' thing.:D 'politburo diatribes'

MSPKYE 06-09-2010 10:45

"Is anyone going to keep an email for 26 years?"

Well Ive still got loads from like 2002, but thats just laziness rather than them having some special meaning :P

BINGO!!

MSPKYE 06-09-2010 10:48

Who had the Dylan Thomas quote in interview bingo? 'Oh and one last shot' HOUSE!!

wireobsessed 06-09-2010 10:48

Just as "Psychotic and Intense" as usual, sounds like a new album title!

I'd LOVE to see the letters they all sent to each other while Nicky and Richey were at Uni, it would be brilliant to see what they were thinking then.

I think James is coming across really, really well, he seems so much more confident in interviews now. Love he's being so honest and that he gets so passionate about the album and finishing it even to the extent of falling out with people.

Nick just got the "rage against the dying of the light" quote

we've had the first three at least.;)

franny 06-09-2010 10:50

Acoustic tracks!!!!!!!!

MSPKYE 06-09-2010 10:50

Acoustic SKON!

burnleybassman 06-09-2010 10:51

Sounds sweet and James is in good voice. Nice to have some more acoustic versions off the new album.

franny 06-09-2010 10:51

James has definitely reduced the dynamics of his vocals a little, still sounds amazing.

Good interview, 'we'll stop for hip replacements' was very amusing.

wireobsessed 06-09-2010 10:52

James sounds absolutely beautiful, I love it when he sings accoustically.

MSPKYE 06-09-2010 10:53

Ah he can still belt it out like mofo

wireobsessed 06-09-2010 10:54

This would be brilliant in James's accoustic slot on tour, come on James do it.

MSPKYE 06-09-2010 10:54

Another one during the week?! Bah bet it'll be Its Not War Anyway
