Considering it's BBC6, cough something we all equally pay for with our license fee (presumably), the ticket allocation for the rest of the country is a bit stingy. It's not as if Wales is hurting for Manics gigs, it's not even hurting for FREE Manics gigs lately either.

Thought the same when the photos emerged yesterday. Can only guess Clwb Ifor have knocked those up quickly themselves.

Would be good if this connects into the KYE reissue. Feels a bit reminiscent of the Coal Exchange gig.

Nice. Worth a punt i guess but i wouldn't have minded the tramshed given the larger capacity.
I've never been under the distinct impression that the manics play a massive amount of gigs in wales anyway though it does seem they are doing more of these more intimate things in the last few years.

In all seriousness, they will do an obscure KYE song I'd say. Well, obscure as in Year of Purification. James also said they were attempting some new covers in rehearsals.

This is pretty bonkers. Clwb is proper small for them. I’ve applied for tickets but not holding out much hope!

Royal Correspondant or day I say it... the third performance of Intravenous Agnostic?

The Coal Exchange was a brilliant gig wasn’t it. One of the live bootlegs I listen to the most. Chaos and a brilliant set.

Extremely unlikely I'd get lucky on a ticket ballot like this as per usual, but it just has to be on the same day that I've already chosen to see Joan As Police Woman instead of NewDad. I don't go to a lot of gigs every year, and then three I'd like to go to all happen on the same day!

Glyn 17-03-2022 21:52

Saw on the BBC news story that there are only 75 pairs available to the public through the ballot. At least it will be on BBC 6 Music (hopefully in full).

Not going to bother. Hopefully someone films it

Most, if not all of it will be on (probably) BBC Four/red player or (more likely) 6Music.
Still, have fun whoever can make it.

If a couple of people got tickets and needed a plus one each, me and a friend would be really grateful. We'll buy you lunch and a milkshake.

Routine Builder 23-03-2022 12:42

Oh no, didn't get one of the 5 pairs I was eligible for. No surprises.

Chriss 23-03-2022 14:04

No tickets for me :( aw well, it’ll be a good one for those that go!

UEF 23-03-2022 15:03

Did anyone actually get one?

The Blackwood gig 11 years ago was horrifically "hangers-on", I think this might be the same
