Okay, so I’ve completed my relisten and there have indeed been some changes! But it will surprise none of you to learn that PFAYM remains an album I can’t bloody stand. Having said that, I do have a new appreciation for that era’s b-sides, especially “Lost Voices”. Always liked that one but now I reckon it’s the best thing from that entire era. Reminds me in equal measure of “Are Mothers Saints” and “Black Garden” but I can’t put my finger on exactly what parts.

Anyway…my new 2021 rankings;

1. The Holy Bible
2. Journal For Plague Lovers
3. This Is My Truth Tell Me Yours
4. Everything Must Go
5. Generation Terrorists
6. Lifeblood
7. Futurology
8. Gold Against The Soul
9. Know Your Enemy
10. Send Away The Tigers
11. The Ultra Vivid Lament
12. Resistance Is Futile
13. Rewind The Film
14. Postcards From A Young Man
