I love how James sounds like he's singing backwards on Deleted Scenes! That's some filter.
Pink Floyd's 15th album was The Endless River. Queen had Made In Heaven.
Status Quo's was 1+9+8+5. The Fall had The Infotainment Scan. Genesis was Calling All Stations.
Those above bands have nothing to do with the band or the new album. But compared the Manics are in better shape. While tab open Deep Purple (I've read Sean snarked) had 1996/7's Purpendicular. And Miles Davis didn't have a 15th album. Jethro Tull, Under Wraps. Go on, last one I can think of The Rolling Stones Emotional Rescue.
To have reached this far. Not just the albums, reading this point. The band sound not as fresh as they started but still more than enough to give the listener something more to hang onto.
There's probably better albums by other bands but to compare even any 80's Pink Floyd albums with CT_ and the Manics come off with a better album.
It's the end but not just yet. I'm confident CT_ is going to climb the top ten of Manics albums. But no idea where exactly yet. Bring on the 16th and leave us on the tarmac of 15's cover!
