I went to this ..late decision but it turned out to be the best gig so far ...best sound too - no muddied vocals. Might've had a shot at the barrier if the 02 priority bullshit wasn't happening but happy with the second row. Got to stand on the step which made all the difference to my short arse. Had a premium view of James just left of his mic and couldn't keep my eyes off him all gig Also had a nice view of Sean without a cymbal cutting his face in half. Nicky had to bob my head about to see

There was also a box right Infront of me that James stood on during ME and you could almost touch him ....well...you'd need inspector gadget arms still but you wouldn't need to extend them that far

Ok I'll stop fan-girling now - someone yelled "still looking good James" at one point - he shook his head and said he had to walk past all the chip shops now " well not all of them "

SO the songs - everything sounded great ..nothing distorted. Sapporo is fast becoming my favourite live song of the new album. They played Orwellian , complicated illusions, (my second favourite live) secret he had missed and afterending.

Got to hear Enola alone for the first time this tour which was cool. Slash n burn totally rocked

We got tristesse in the acoustic slot after a debate between that, Despair and stay beautiful. Tristesse got the most cheers- James : " arrgh that's the high one" Sounded great tho. He stopped a bit of the way through cos people were clapping out of time and putting him off

Loved the gig, got rowdy for Design but otherwise was fine. Band was super happy ...James was bouncing spinning about ..Nicky all smiles ..he did talk just can't remember anything he said right now

Queuing was frustrating cos they had one person checking covid passes for both queues
