What should be the new sleepflower?

What song would you like to hear most...that the band would be unlikely to play without a bit of persuasion?

Id like to hear Prologue To History

Not that it will ever happen...

I think the ideal one for me would be Strip it Down, slosely followed by SYMM. Id die a happy man if they played either of them!

I think that would be quite likely to be honest.

I think we should have the song in your username! But that might take more than a little persuation after what Nicky said about how it sounded when they last played it

both prologue to history and intravenous agnostic or even wattsville blues would be good to me - would they do the masses against the classes?

How about...underdogs as the new you love us? (not that you could replace it really!)

Montana Autumn 78!!!!! I love that track and would be amazed if they ever played it. I was lucky enough to be right at the front at Move when they played Prologue to History, it was really good. I'd also like Judge Yrself.

Montana/Autumn 78 is a classic.

The new Sleepflower should be 'Nobody Loved You', supported by the petition on the SATT forum which should be moved to this forum! At least Nobody Loved You doesn't go on for ages and ages.

Masses... was a regular feature on the PPF tour (and most tours before that as well). It does put quite a strain on James' voice though I think.

I spoke to Sean about Underdogs very briefly last night. He said that they might play it in December, but he thought that a lot of people didn't really like it. I told him that they'll never please everyone (especially not Manics fans ) which he seemed to agree with.

I agree. Comfort Comes and Faster sound nothing alike.

Aww, that makes me feel sad in a way. And I dislike Underdogs too.

Re: Comfort Comes/Faster. There are similarities! The intro of Comfort Comes is the start of the melody in Faster - "I am an architect".

Yeah, I know what you mean. I said to him that it sounded great at the AOL session which he seemed pleased about - "At least someone got to hear it live" were his words. I like Underdogs.

I really Sean as well - He gets cooler every time I speak to him.

That song has already been done - it was played at Move festival 2003.
