Battle to the Death: GT vs. Lifeblood
Merry Christmas!

The only thing superior about Lifeblood is the production. I hope there'll soon be a GT remaster.

They duel each other to death?... How very Christmassy.
Chose GT. |

GT all the way, but I feel a little mean as I can predict the outcome.

I voted for Lifeblood earlier in the day and am posting to report current scores tied on 7 at this very moment!
EDIT: Within typing that it's gone to 8-7! It's quick today! |

There are a few songs that let GT down, that shouldnt be on it
That said, many on Lifeblood shouldnt even be songs |

Lifeblood is brilliant, a wonderful album all the way through. GT is tedious except for a couple of songs. Plus it sounds like you're listening to it through your neighbor's wall.

Easiest choice ever.
Lifeblood by a million miles.

I'm nostalgic about GT as it's the album that introduced me to the band, but Lifeblood is far superior in every sense.
The Manics themselves may not be too fond of the album, but clearly it has it's supporters among their fans and deservedly so! |

This is a misconception. The Manics consider Lifeblood to have been an artistic success, and were disappointed that it wasn't more popular. Nicky himself says in No Manifesto that they're really proud of it.
