Official PFAYM Lyrics
Could one of the lovely folks who have now received their physical copies of the album find the time to share the official lyrics with us? Thankies

The Deluxe Edition (not the Super-Duper Deluxe Edition) doesn't have the lyrics. There are a few that look like full lyrics, but when you actually hear the song, they're almost nothing alike. They're obviously very early incarnations of the eventual songs.
Bit of a pisser, really - JFPL's deluxe edition didn't have one of the tracks from the standard edition, and PFAYM's deluxe edition doesn't have the lyrics. Maybe the deluxe edition for the next album will be third time lucky? Can anyone with the other versions confirm if the final lyrics are in any of them? I hate it when albums don't have the lyrics in them, due to being a bit of a hearing spastic.

To be honest I've been trying to sing along to some of the songs and have of the words aren't even there. I know they probably changed some bits and bobs to fit the music or whatever but there's a few songs where there are full verses not even written in the booklet as far as I can see. Oh well, I just make my own words up half the time anyway to what suits me

As I mentioned in another thread, digital booklet contains the official lyrics (that, as it seems to me are, I don't know, 80% accurate), but it's 1:06 a.m. here so I won't be able to share them all today I can do any single one right now, which one would you like?

I think he/she's gone to bed..
Here you go: I Think I Found It i think i found it and i think i love it buried in the dirt hiding from the light so i walked to the sea threw a pebble in for you and me a day of wine and roses has made me feel alive my letter was burnt but your words were wise for mystery and youth must surely collide a song of anti-matter which might explain the absence of any precious jewels of truth to save mankind i think i found it and i think i love it buried in the dirt hiding from the light my letter was burnt but your words were wise for mystery and youth must surely collide these things i've seen brings tears to my eyes live with me through the threads of our lives Last edited by albireo; 18-09-2010 at 21:48. |

I want to know if that word in GP is 'economist' or 'communist'.
And what does Mac sing on SKON? I think it sounds like 'There's beauty there or nothing at all...' but, I'm probably wrong! |
