Don't let the Television fool you..
In regards to the T in the Park appearance by the band this weekend. I've read through the thread and I have to agree, I thought the crowds attitude to the Manics wasn't the best, many looked bored watching them and seemed to be waiting for the Script and Beyonce, but it seems the band impressed a fair few. My sister went to the festival and text saying she thought they were excellent and was surprised how many songs she knew from listening to them coming from my view when we were younger.
Also check this thread out. http://www.efestivals.co.uk/forums/i...owtopic=165203 Well done guys, seem to have got a few new fans in the making as well. Maybe we are being to over critical about the Manics at festivals.. I still agree with the masses thinking the bands day's on the main stage are numbered, headlining the tents at festivals suit them much better! |

Yeah. I think that no matter how well they play at V, they're going to bomb due to where and when their set is.

Yeah I think its a terrible lineup. I really think the band will stick out like a sore thumb. Can you really expect Ellie Goulding, Rhianna and Eminem fans trying to get Faster!!
