I heard rumours about this the day before it was officially announced, but didn't believe it as Flow is the least Manicsy festival I can think of! Needless to say I'm extremely happy about seeing them again so soon after the Helsinki gig in May and I'm glad they're playing on the same day as The National and The Horrors.

This is just massive, their 2nd Finland show this year! I mean.. the last time they were around was 2011.
And, for what it's worth, in Helsinki Wire said they will definitely come back to do a THB show. And that was the only Scandi show he said it at. So maybe, maybe, maybe we'll get a third one as well! Just incredible. |

This is brilliant! I'll be very very pregnant by the time of the Flow but this means the baby will have been to two Manics gigs before it's even been born (First time ever that I bought ticket insurance though.)

It was a great gig, I didn't expect to enjoy a festival gig this much. Especially the beginning of the gig was really good and James was in excellent mood then when he was introducing ADFL some idiot threw something at him and missed (a bottle top maybe) and James got very pissed off. At the end James said they'll hopefully be back next year as they hope to do something special - now what could that be...

I think at the end of Futurology Nicky tried to say something about playing the whole The Holy Bible next year in Finland but am not 100 % sure, and I thought that's what James meant with that something special. And Nicky said the same thing in May as well. A great gig anyway!
Edit: Sorry if I just stated the obvious or said something stupid... Last edited by Kapris; 09-08-2014 at 21:43. |

Yeah - that is interesting. Assuming the Holy Bible stuff is for the end of this year (and won't go international) that might just mean a run of summer festivals to keep them busy.
