The closest thing to a hometown show. Love the Olympia. One of my favourite Manics gigs was here, Easter Sunday 97. Count me in

I dunno man. I wouldn't be paying 90 quid to see them without Lindsey Buckingham. Then again I wouldn't pay that even if he was playing. Every summer it's just wall to wall legacy acts.

Truth never been one of my favourites so decided it's not worth the trek to Dublin. A JFPL 10th anniversary tour next year would be more up my street.

I missed the news of the gig and sale also, gutted but will be going. Someone hopefully will have a spare; looked at viagogo and standing tix were there but do not want to have any dealings with them.

Same here. First show of the tour too, so it will be interesting to see what other songs are played with TIMTTMY and how they work it, whether it will be as before ALBUM then HITS AND "DEEP CUTS" or will they work the album in throughout the set.

From the polls for set openers and closers they did on social media I'm hoping they'll mix things up a little on this tour rather than simply play the album. Whilst the pacing of THB and EMG works for a live playback, I'm not sure TIMTTMY works in the same way.

Can't wait for this!!!

Anyone know would it be 9pm when they're on? The ad online for Olympia stated 7-10pm but upon ringing them they said 9pm the Manics actually take the stage. It's been a long 4.5 years since I last saw them; December 2014 HolyBible tour. Time flies...

Normally the show starts at nine, although I was almost caught out a few weeks back by Suede going on stage at eight. Search for stage times in the day is the gig, but if in any doubt I'd make sure to be inside the venue by eight

The band usually come off stage between 10:30 and 10:45. Not sure if they have support for Dublin so it might be earlier...
