Bearded Theory 2025

I think that's the first UK live date for 2025 confirmed! Although I can't find confirmation anywhere which of the five days they are performing on (or if day tickets are available for those who only want to be there for Manics day)

When did they start doing every festival under the sun after years of being too snobby about it? Was it 2013 or 2014? Before that?

The cynic would say when they started slipping down the schedules and no longer got booked for the top slots at the major festivals.

Would a band get paid more for headlining something like Bearded Theory compared to playing say fourth from the top at Reading?

When streaming meant they started making bugger all money from new album releases, even if they were packaged up in massive fuck-off shoeboxes?

Looks like quite a decent festival line up, squarely aimed at the middle aged like me

I remember Nicky once saying in an interview that being offered to do Guilfest before SATT was quite difficult

This is a very good festival, and will be a better crowd than your average festival show

No day tickets though I'm afraid

My biggest "Bloody hell! They're still going!" was seeing Audioweb listed!

I'd go only if James recommits to regrowing that sexy COVID beard again.

Once upon a time I'd see Manics announced for a festival and think 'ooh I wonder if they'll play anything new or if a tour is coming!' This time, it was 'ooh I hope Iggy Pop does a few headline dates in the UK!' How things change. Not a bad lineup though.
