Louder than war
Is it still available? Is it worth it?

I really like it, but if you are not a fan of Know Your Enemy then you should maybe think twice.

Play have it still: http://www.play.com/Music/MusicDVD/4...searchsource=0
I'd say it's worth it, even if it is dominated by KYE tracks, I like the album but not nearly of it in one set.

i bought it from tesco for something stupid like 4.00 it was a bargain. its a good performance but as a music dvd its kinda shit i cant really explain it the extras are just a bit random and it doesnt flow. plus the bonus cuban tv bonus tracks are awful quality does anyone know why they didnt record the other songs or why they are only in such quality?
but on the whole id recommend it, some good performances on there

For me, the Channel 4 documentary 'Our Manics in Havana' remains the best document of the trip to Cuba.

So I got my copy today and I'm feeling a bit stupid... where are the 'exclusive interviews', namely Radio Interview in full (25min), Castro Interviews 1&2 in full (7min each)?
*EDIT* Ok I've seen the light! I thought I could select those from the extra section... not in the tour diary feature! ![]() Last edited by Embla Claymore; 28-04-2010 at 22:41. |

I'd always meant to buy this but for some reason never got round to it. Watched the CH4 documentary at the time and really enjoyed that.

I still have to watch it properly, I've only checked a few of the songs from the gig and parts of the other features... it's good to have it for what it is, the account of a very peculiar event. I have never seen the CH4 documentary so this is good enough for me.
It goes for like 4.90£ on amazon, so it's not much of an investment! |

Yes, the editing is awful at times - I think from memory, that on one of the later songs where James is playing guitar, there's a shot or two of him playing bass.

On the KYE tour he did play bass live with Nicky playing guitar when they did MEDD.

Yeah, I know that - I was saying that they'd clearly edited in some of the Miss Europa footage from the gig with whatever song it was near the end when he was playing guitar as usual.

Yeah, during the guitar solo in Australia he is jumping up and down with a bass!
