Manic Street Preachers: Next Direction?

So We've Heard Manic Street Preachers Will Start Work On A New Record Around Autumn Time, But Being A Band Who Have Made Every Album Sound Different From The Last, Yet Making It Sound Like A Manic Street Preachers Record, What Will Be The Direction Of The Next Album, Plus Albums To Follow?

to be honest I'm more interested which label will launch The Next Album.
Heavenly - part of EMI? they seem to like each other
or maybe they will stay in Sony? or release their new album in their own label? I don't think they would do the same as Radiohead did.

They still have one more album on their deal with Sony - it's a ten album deal, not including compilations.

before JFPL they said their next album would be their last with Sony, and that after JFPL they'd be trying something different.

I imagine it'll be SATT meets TIMTTMY

Please no. Rather the 'Rappin' Jimmy' stuff than another mid-tempo boredom.

It was quite widespread that JFPL is their last one with Sony. Or was it only a speculation?

Seeing as they ballsed up Generation Terrorists a proper punk rock album, with Dave Eringa back on tea making duties.

I have my doubts about them doing the same thing as Radiohead as well. I hope they do something different and not another SATT.

I actually wouldn't mind a more acoustic album. It would be something different.

I wouldn't mind an acoustic album but I wouldn't want to wait 2 or 3 years for it. An album plus a disc of acoustic tracks like Foo Fighters' In Your Honour would be good.

Maybe More Songs Like Hibernation, Small Black Flowers That Grow In The Sky, This Is Yesterday. This Is A Strong Side To The Manics I'd Like To Hear More Of.

I Don't Mean To Be An Ass But Why Do You Type Your Posts Like They're Headlines Or Titles?

Anyway, I'd quite like a more acoustic-based direction too. Things like KYE's ramshackle acoustic rockers, JFPL's more tender moments or say Black Dog on My Shoulder really make me intrigued how nifty a whole album in that sort of direction would be.
