Will we be seeing the Manics at any 2010 festivals?
Do you think they'll be playing any?
Obviously, in the UK, they've played T this year, Leeds and Reading 2008, and Glastonbury 2007 (I think it was that year).

So would you like to see them at any next year? And where on the line up would you like to see them?

Outdoor stage?Indoor stage? Headliners? Lower down the bill?

Headliners on Saturdays in Tents, NME/Radio 1 stages maybe a number 4 slot on Glastonbury Pyramid stage?

James did say in Belgium earlier on this year 'you've been fucking brilliant, see you next year'.

Then again, 2008 was the European SATT festival tour so, JFPL might be that next year.

It was proven beyond any doubt in 2007 that bands like the Manics and Glastonbury in the daylight do not mix well. The videos of them playing to a bunch of miserable, wet statues offer as painful footage as I've ever seen of them. At least when it's dark you can't see how shit Glastonbury crowds are these days.

And besides, their universally recognised best Glastonbury performance was away from the Pyramid stage.

I'm sure they won't headline Glasto, but they might play there. I remember someone said that Sean mentioned 2010 summer would be busy for them. can't wait!

Glasto? If so then I definitely will be seeing them next year. I wouldn't mind them doing Hydro-Connect if they decide to bring it back, it was a gorgeous setting. Love to see them at more overseas ones too, Lokerse Feesten was great!
