New Richey book due - a novel this time
There's a new Richey book coming out later this year or early next (I've found conflicting info on the web about when). It's called "Richard" and is written by Ben Myers. According to Wikipedia, it "purports to be a fictionalised account of Edwards' life "as he might have told it.""

I'm e-mailing Ben at the moment about that picture on the front / back - I've seen others from that photo session, but not that one! I'm always skeptical about novelizations of celebrities'/musicians' lives, but I tend to like Manics stories in general and I'm enthused about a published work coming out, I will definitely check into it!

I actually hate this sort of thing and think it's kind of sick in a way. Won't be buying it, that's for sure!

Now see if I'd written it, I would have gone to town with it and probably have had the book stuck in legal limbo. But I wouldn't have paired him up with any of the other Manics? He maybe mental but he's not stupid!

Thanks for the info Richeysite, but sadly, I can't say I'm too interested in the premise of this book...sounds like an utter bore, tbh.
