Postcard From A Young Man: artwork
A thread about the brilliant artwork! (the artwork deserves a thread on its own, just like the tracklisting etc ...)
It seems to be a Tim Roth photograph. Any more info? Someone who's got the artwork in high resolution?

You can save the background on the official site, dosen't have the logo but it's quite big.

I hope that's not the artwork, it looks awful, ludicrously literal.

Well.. it is. It's not entirely literal, it's not a postcard and Tim Roth was like 33 when the photo was taken..

Their best cover since Lifeblood and somewhere in their top-5 covers. It's excellent.

Also, it's drawing in a lot of Tim Roth fans. Seriously, I know quite a few people who love Tim Roth and are suddenly showing an interest in this Manic Street Preachers band...

It's good artwork. Whether you liked Send Away the Tigers and/or Lifeblood or not the Manics have definitely carried on putting out really good artwork that is both nice to look at and may attract people to it. So many bands seem to have no interest in artwork.

SATT had some of the worst artwork of any album I own. The photoshop hatchet-job which they made the cover was just depressing.
